SCM Infrastructure Analyst: ClearCase Integration Responsibilities include: Support of developer and release coordinator requests for software configuration control activities associated with the full Clearcase command set. This includes branch creation/removal, merges, builds, building of tar files, and release deployment to integrated test and production environments. This position is also required to assist with an anticipated increase in the number of regular daily SCM requests, as a result of existing staff being reallocated to the Clearcase administrator and transition functions required for implementation of the BladeLogic Application Release Manager, which is part of department automation initiatives. The person in this position will be expected to become familiar with the BladeLogic automated deployment tool and become proficient in generating workflow jobs within the BladeLogic Application Release Manager tool as the product is integrated into our procedures. In addition to the regular duties performed by an SCM infrastructure analysts, this position is required to assist with the onboarding of recently acquired Thinkorswim development products to SCM controls and procedures, including porting the software to Clearcase and performing ongoing management of the request queue for Thinkorswim software builds, packaging and deployments to test and production environments. Req'd Skills: This position requires evening to late night release support for production deployments 1-3 nights per week in addition to normal daily work load. Qualifications include: Background in software configuration management Experience with Clearcase 7.0.1.3 version control tool Experience with Unix/Linux, Redhat/SUSE, and Windows server deployments Experience with script building and tar/untar related to applications deployments Experience supporting deployments of software releases to production and test servers Experience Needed: 5+ years overall experience with ClearCase including Administration.
