We have an urgent requirement for " TEST ANALYSTS /CA/DIRECTCLIENT "
consultants with one of my clients. Please find the details and the complete
job description of the position given below.
Position: TEST ANALYSTS /CA/DIRECTCLIENT
Location: Sacramento , CA
Duration: 12+ months
Rate: Best $/hr AI on C2C
Positions: 1
SEEKING TEST ANALYSTS
We are seeking testers to execute activities for various levels of testing
on the sub-projects listed above (i.e. integration, system testing,
performance testing and User Acceptance testing).
1) DMVA Replacement: convert the existing DMVA programs written in EDL to
Java. The front-end screens (approx 600) will be replaced with a Web browser
and Java programs with transaction processing also in Java, leveraging the
infrastructure services of the WebSphere Application Server.
OR
2) RTC Replacement: convert a home grown "CICS" like environment to CICS
Cobol following a SOA Framework.
OR
3) TLT Conversion: Convert the existing 280+ assembler transaction programs
to CICS/Cobol programs.
Requirements include:
- Testing Experience with any of the technologies listed above (minimum 6
years of experience in a testing role, 5 total in the IT industry)
-Experience in the following areas: HP Quality Center, Quick Test Pro, black
box testing, Load Runner, Load and Performance Testing are a plus.
On the RTC side, experience with HP Quality Center, Quick Test Pro, black
box testing, working with main frame systems, unix systems, ZOS, and IBM are
a plus.
Good communication skills are mandatory, both verbal and written. The
ability to work side by side with the client
- Experience with developing test scripts, cases, specifications
- Formal test training (optional but nice to have)
- Understanding of testing methodologies and techniques
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
