Role: Lead PEOPLESOFT FINANCIALS’ DEVELOPER Duration: 1 year Loc: Sacramento, CA Rate: DOE He/She will be responsible to design, develop, deploy, and maintain PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA) as part of the business solution defined in Functional and Technical Design Documents. At the CalPERS project manager’s discretion; the consultant may act in a lead capacity to provide guidance to project and state technical staff. The consultant takes a lead role in PeopleSoft development activities as well as troubleshooting and fixing system defects. He/She will take a lead role in developing and configuring interfaces, web-services, Component Interface objects, Tuxedo domains, PIA components, and Process Schedulers for both HP Unix environments as well as Win2K environments. The consultant will apply their experience working with Governmental Accounting Systems to enhance and configure the PeopleSoft Financials environments. He/She will apply their skills in Workflow, Component Interface, Business Interlinks, Integration Broker, and File Layouts. The consultant must be proficient with SOA concepts as well as Web-Service development and integration, LDAP, and Active Directory. He/She will demonstrate their competence in Oracle database tuning, Web Server and Tuxedo performance tuning, and PIA troubleshooting. The consultant will take a lead role in gap analysis to define and implement complete solutions. He/She will use configuration management procedures and technologies (Quest’s STAT ACM for PeopleSoft) to migrate upgraded and enhanced objects. They will support the various development, test, data conversion, staging, and production environments. The consultant is expected to validate data coming from external systems feeding PeopleSoft as well as data transmissions leaving PeopleSoft to add or update the PSR system. The consultant will be expected to lead efforts in all SDLC phases. The consultant will perform in the lead capacity with the following: · Retrofitting customized / vanilla objects, (i.e., pages, fields/records, modified PeopleCode, etc.) through patch application and/or application development · Modify Crystal Reports · XML Publisher and forms generation · Perform analysis on comparison reports between copies of production and the associated development, test, or stage environments maintaining CM Best Practices and code management · Perform Configuration analysis to ensure the PeopleSoft configurations meet the defined requirements · Perform data conversion including developing the scripts and assisting with validating data · Provide expertise with the Upgrade Assistant and Change Assistant, including troubleshooting expertise with both utilities · Maintain PeopleSoft 8.9 Commitment Control functionality to meet State of California budgetary requirements · Take the lead in the upgrade and maintenance of the PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA) · Design, develop, unit test, system test, and regression test customizations including interfaces for PeopleSoft Financials · Tune the SQL and PIA components and provide knowledge transfer to CalPERS state employees · Provide Subject Matter Expertise with PeopleSoft Billing, Accounts Receivables, Collections, Long Term Receivables, and simple receivables, for example no payment schedule · Perform project related activities on an as needed basis to be determined by his Data Processing Manager *MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS* - Minimum of 3 years Application Development experience with PeopleSoft Financials’ Application Designer toolset version 8.x - Minimum of 1 years development experience with PeopleSoft Dunning Process including Condition Monitor - Minimum of 4 years experience using and tuning Oracle SQL and PL-SQL - Minimum of 4 years development experience using Application Engine, SQR, PeopleCode, and Crystal Reports - Minimum of 3 years experience supporting and tuning the PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA) - Familiar with California State Government policies, practices, and procedures Thanks and Regards Prashanth CELERSYSTEMS Email: [email protected] IM: prashanth_rec (Yahoo) Gtalk: Prashanth.rec http://www.linkedin.com/in/prasanth123
