Duration: 1 Year with likely 1 year extension.*
This is a data editing position with a focus on natural resources
interpretation.
Work will involve onscreen digitization in ArcMap of changed land use / land
cover features as represented in 2009 compared to the 2004 land use / land
cover data layer. Feature boundaries will be updated, as well as
attribution. The primary data source will be color infrared imagery.
At least one year photointerpretation experience is preferred.
If the candidate has no photointerpretation experience, then
educational background or experience in natural sciences, or with
analyzing natural resources GIS data is required.
Minimum one year ESRI ArcMap experience is required.
Individuals must be detail-oriented, methodical, thorough, and
attentive to data quality.
