Position: Unix Administration with Remedy Problem Management Duration: 6+
Location: FL Skills: - 3-5 Years experience in Unix Administration (looking for an intermediate individual) - Tivoli Storage Manager (ADSM) (or another Enterprise Backup Package) - Linux (Red Hat 7.x RHAS 2.1 RHES 3.0. RHEL 5.2), UNIX HP-UX 10.20 11.11, and Shell Scripting - Remedy Problem Mgmt. Experience is a PLUS!! - Additional skills that would be a plus: LAN Support (Windows 2000, 2003 Exchange) Scope of Work / Scope of Responsibility: - Looking for someone with strong Communication (very important!!), the candidate will be working directly with the hiring manager. Duties may consist of; in the morning, reviewing roots mail- ensuring the system is Ok, making sure the backups are completed, complete audits-(They have 17 different audit requirements) - If there is an action needed after the audit, complete it, and email it to the helpdesk. - In the Afternoon; they may be doing trouble tickets and service req’s, defining users, building servers, configuring discs and configuring a SAN - Possible example: upgrading servers, increasing file systems, relocating a fiber switch, installing a fiber card in a server, installing HW in a server, and Installed cable management arms -- Thanks & Regards Kevin Maripax Solutions | [email protected] www.Maripax.com
