Position :Mainframe with COBOL II (State/Federal experience) Location : Olympia, Washington Duration : 1 year Rate : Open*. * * * They need a* Mainframe Developer *with *COBOL II* experience with state welfare systems or other *state/federal* projects. If they have not done any state/federal projects I will not be able to submit, so don’t bother sending their resumes. * * *Position Description:* Duties include analysis, design, programming, documentation, unit and integration testing. Experience in each of these areas is required. Mid-level analytical and coding skills on large and complex on-line and batch mainframe applications. Requires excellent analytical skills in a business and application environment with complex contractor/client integrated organizations. - Able to provide quick and accurate functional assistance and technical support to client, operations, and other team members. - Knowledge and experience in COBOL II applications with state and federal interfaces. - Experience with state welfare systems, specifically IV-A (TANF, Medical, Food Benefits) preferred. *Project Description:* This project supports the systems that provide welfare benefits to recipients in the state of WA.
