The vendor then forwards a copy of the background check results to the client where they keep a copy.* * * *Title: System / IT Architect* *Duration : 12 Months* *Location : Trenton , NJ* * * *Background of Project:* The purpose of this request is to augment the technical staff of the Information technology Office (ITO) to develop Bar Admissions Application in a Web environment phase III. The project will create both an on-line application system and a new internal computer system for the Bar Admission Unit. The current system has become outdated and does not support all of the functions of the Bar Admissions Unit work. Additionally, an on-line application system would allow applicants for the bar examination to apply for admission to the bar on-line, thereby reducing the data entry work needed to be performed by the Bar Admissions Unit. This phase will concentrate on the external application. * * *Description of Work:* *Systems/IT Architect(s)* Contract staff will work at the direction of the Information technology Office staff along with the Supreme Court Clerk’s Office staff or their designated representative and will be required to contribute in all phases of project development. The Systems/IT Architect will be required to perform system analysis on the Bar Admissions Unit’s current system and make recommendations on a computer system to include an on-line application module. The Systems IT Architect must also meet users to develop requirements, must gain complete understanding of all business rules, policies and procedures within the Bar Admissions Unit. This includes working with users, documenting system requirements, project plans, prototypes, design, develop and implement the Web application within the ITO RUP protocols and procedures. Detailed work may include documenting business models, use case models, sequence diagrams, generating code specifications, perform coding tasks, unit test all modules and implementation of the system *Description of Deliverables:* The Systems/IT Architect will deliver completed system documentation and diagrams per the ITO Rational Software protocols and complete program components (Java, JSP, EJB, Servlets, Builds, Lotus/Domino etc…) as assigned. All components must be clearly documented. *Contractor Requirements: * *Contractor Requirements:* • Minimum of seven (7) years experience with HTML • Minimum of seven (7) years experience with JSP Tags • Minimum of seven (7) years experience with Javascript. • Minimum of seven (7) years experience with J2EE patterns • Minimum of five (5) years experience as an *Architect *of J2EE systems utilizing JSP 1.2, Servlets 2.2, EJB 2.0 • Minimum five (5) years RUP • Minimum five (5) years hands-on experience in client-server / Web systems development as a developer and technical/application architect. • Minimum three (3) year experience with Webshere Application Server • Minimum one (1) year experience with SQL Server • Minimum one (1) year experience with IBATIS • Minimum one (1) year experience with IBM Content Manager • Minimum one (1) year experience with ADOBE Server • Must have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and spoken English language. • Must have interpersonal and supervisory skills. • Must have interpersonal and supervisory skills.
