*1. Minimum three (3) years Java programming experience required. **

*2. Minimum three (3) years experience with EJB’s required. ** *
*3. Minimum three (3) years experience with Struts or Hibernate
required. ** *
*4. Minimum three (3) year program analysis experience required. **

*5. Application server work experience (such as JBoss) preferred for
Java developers; work experience with integration technologies (such as
SOAP) helpful for client-server developers.** *
*6. Minimum three (3) years relational database experience required,
preferably having some experience with currently supported versions of
ORACLE database software. ** *
*7. Experience with object-oriented software methodologies
preferred.** ** *

*RESPONSIBILITIES:** *

*1. Assist with analysis and provide programming services to
write/modify programs according to program functional specifications.
Assist in gathering requirements as needed. ** *
*2. Test programs to ensure proper functionality and adherence to
specifications. Debug and correct code defects encountered during testing.*
* *
*3. Maintain assigned applications and documentation (utilizing
software version control system); install application software updates.
Work with application users, providing support as necessary. ** *
*4. Develop a general familiarity with a subset of the business
systems of the client.** *
*5. Document program logic, user instructions, and operating
procedures according to all department standards. *
*6. Research and determine causes of program malfunctions and
re-code as needed.** *
*7. Design and create program input/output specifications, report
layouts, logic flow, and Object-oriented diagrams in order to develop code
used to support programs and sub-systems; create reports as required. ** *
*8. Participate in the planning, scheduling, and the coordination of
activities required in the development and implementation of software
systems. ** *
*9. Evaluate new technology and concepts and their application for
possible implementation into current systems. ** *
*10. Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.*
