The desired candidate in this position will have prior experience in working with governmental/municipal licensing systems that provide permission to conduct some activity (i.e. fishing, hunting, driving, CDL, etc). Years of Relevant Experience: 2 to 4 years Preferred Education: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study *Role Description:* Define product test plans and criteria for acceptance. Develop, update, and maintain testing standards and procedures. Resolve testing process questions / issues. Resolve conflicts involving integration of NJ Division of Fish and Wildlife business rules. Ability to navigate within the Replicated Database, building, creating and testing reports to insure the both the integrity of the database and accuracy of any associated reports generated. Assist Team Lead or Test Team Lead in monitoring estimated-time-to-complete (ETC) and actuals from Electronic License System contractor. Work with Test Team members to enhance their testing skills and build technical and business knowledge. Update and test new Electronic License System software releases. Generally aware of new developments in industry and processes and ability to apply to work as appropriate. Determine time estimates and schedule for work efforts. Define and utilize entry / exit criteria for testing. Anticipate and resolve issues specific to the team. Create and develop real life samples and scenarios for use in Test Environment for both ‘on-the-spot’ tests for current releases but also to follow through in the cumulative process with each successive release. Determine time estimates and schedule for own work and resolve issues in a timely manner. Identify and track issues, risks and action items Write change requests. *PLEASE NOTE:* This is a part time position that will yield 20 hours of work weekly (flexible - based on client demand, as long as it is within business hours). This position requires that the contractor be able to work full time (40 hours) at certain times of the year (3 weeks in September and 3 weeks in Nov-December). Also candidate must be able to travel weekly (1-2 days per week) to remote NJ sites outside of Trenton, NJ. In exchange, there is some flexibility that will allow work from home 10-25% with client approval. Please do not submit candidates that are not comfortable with this requirement.
