Position: Business Analyst with Insurance/Property & Casualty experience Location: Des Moines, IA Duration: 3-6 Months Rate: $30/hr - $32/hr BEST RATE PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT ANYONE OVER $32/HR. We are looking for a Business Analyst with STRONG Property & Casualty experience, preferably underwriting experience. A technical Java or COBOL background would also be a strong plus but the Property & Casualty is a MUST. They will hire off one phone interview. Required Skills: 1) Property & Casualty underwriting knowledge -- BAs with underwriting background have been successful in this role. Need work experience on working on the rating of a policy. Also need solid understanding or work experience with ISO standards. 2) Technical Aptitude - to work on Policy Star the policy rating and issuance system written in Java -- Consultant will be working with a "tool set" that sits on top of the Policy Star Java application.
