They will be using PHP v5 (or later... it is at 5.3.X now) in a Object
Oriented Programming (OOP) environment. They will also be deploying AJAX
and using MySQL as the database. The PHP consultant will need to develop
approximately 5 reports, an ADMIN piece and an Access/Reporting function for
the Vendors. The consultants will also need to create a Import process for
the weekly upload (to populate and replace data in the MySQL database...a
simple overwrite of data and not a more complicated match-merge process)...
there is a possibility that Kentucky will update the MySQL database.
I would suggest looking for a PHP candidate (let's use the BrainBench test
to verify capabilities) with PHP v5, OOP experience along with AJAX and
MySQL experience. They need to have excellent communication experience and
be able to take an application full-cycle.
