Captiva Development position in St. Louis, MO. ***US Citizenship required*** 1 year duration U.S. Citizenship, a federal criminal background check, and a determination of credit trustworthiness. Description: Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation. Provides significant input into creation, maintenance and adherence to coding standards. Has full technical knowledge of all phases of applications programming. • Work with IT and Business analysts to evaluate complex user requests. Independently formulate and influence detailed program specifications using structured analysis and design methodology. Prepare project definition documentation. • Develop FormWare workflow solutions and supporting programs. • Fine-tune OCR engines to improve ICR/OCR reading rate. • Trouble shoot and resolve FormWare production issues. • Work with Pharmacy Technology department to design new OCR forms. Required Qualifications * 3+ years experience in FormWare development * 3+ years experience in VB6 development * 2+ year(s) experience in SQL Server and ODBC development • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Advanced problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions. • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work load and meet project deadlines in an extremely fast-paced environment • Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment and make independent decisions • Thorough knowledge of programming concepts, design, procedures and practices • Experience in multi-platform distributed environment • Adaptability and willingness to learn • Extremely detail oriented.
