Duration: 9 + months (Possible extensions) Rate: $40/hr Max Our client is upgrading its web sites from Vignette Content Management System (CMS) version 7.3 to Vignette version 7.6. We are implementing a new look and feel, and upgrading the content and capabilities of the County department's web sites as part of this project. In addition, we are maintaining sites on Vignette 7.3 until they can be migrated. The scope of work is as follows: § Create and manage Content Template Definitions (CTDs), portlets, and templates § Administer Vignette software package, including installing, configuring and troubleshooting § Administer Vignette Business Integration Studio software (VBIS) § Optimize content coding for search engines § Provide support to CMS content authors § Analyze requirements, research options and and design solutions § Ensure security requirements are met and policies are adhered to § May require occasional non-standard work hours to accommodate system upgrades and maintenance during off-peak hours Experience: The following are required. ü Advanced expertise in administering and developing for Vignette Content Management System version 7.3 or later ü Advanced expertise in developing Java J2EE, Java Server Pages (JSP) and JavaScript programs ü Advanced expertise developing with XML and XSLT ü Advanced experience in using and configuring web servers ü Excellent software development skills and experience following the software development lifecycle process. ü Advanced troubleshooting and debugging skills ü Ability to work well in a team in collaboration with developers, customers, project managers, and requirements analysts ü Uses clear oral and written communication ü Advanced analytical skills The following are preferred. ü Experience with Vignette DSM and Portal products ü Experience with SQL and SQLServer ü Proficiency in data architectures and design (normalized, dimensional, UML modelinq) Education "Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, or related discipline required.
