I am looking for a DOORS Specialist in PA for a long term project.

 

Job description is below.

Major Duties:

.              Learn and be able to share in general users terms the
application architecture of our implementation of DOORS

.              Collect, define, and design requirements for Development
Tools (DOORS, Quality Center, and CHANGE)

.              Learn customers work practices/processes and translate to
tool application structure definition without the customer needing to know
the inner working of the tools

.              Lead efforts to resolve design and implementation conflicts
between teams

.              Facilitate the introduction of DOORS to the teams.

.              Present and discuss technical information in a way that
establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding

.              Serve as liaison between groups to develop policies, methods,
and procedures in working with the requirements management tool

.              Research available information and standards, develop
process, communicate process direction in relation to the implementation and
use of the tools

.              Develop process for areas of change management relating to
requirements

.              Facilitate meetings in multiple mediums, live, over the phone
and use webinars

.              Meet with users from all level, disciplines, and locations.

.              Conduct change control board meetings

.              Document decisions, requirements, direction, and processes

.              Direct information to administration team for implementation

.              Collect feedback from trials and resolve open issues

.              Create potential solutions to identified issues

.              Self Manage and pace work to meet/beat schedule

.              Authoring documentation into common formats using various
office software tools

.              Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Key Skills/Knowledge:

.              Use and functionality of a Requirements Management Tool -
preferably DOORS

.              Use and functionality of a work flow tool to manage change
requests - preferably CHANGE

.              Requirements gathering

.              Working team facilitation

.              Process / work methodology analysis

.              Change Management

.              Facilitation and training of large diverse groups

.              Problem solving

.              Implementing new work methodology within user groups

.              Excellent oral and written communications

.              Managing, organizing and processing simultaneous tasks and
activities

.              Solid understanding of Project Life Cycles

.              Proven ability to work independently and interact with
business professionals at all level
