*Task Description: *

The Investigative Data Analytics (IDA) project provides the tool for CI
investigators to triage massive amount of heterogeneous data pertinent to
income tax fraud, money laundering and terrorist activities. Currently, the
data triage is achieved by laboriously searching many separate databases.
IDA will improve this by providing a single point of access to all publicly
available information needed by CI to pursue its investigations. IDA will
allow CI to query information extracted from a wide range of sources, and
identify patterns and relationships that might indicate criminal activities.

*Job Responsibilities:*

The Database environment for this project is SQL Server 2005. This
individual will act as the database administrator for the project and will
be responsible for creating and maintaining a large sized SQL Server 2005
database repository (about 1 terabyte). Will also be responsible to create
and maintain the data models in Rational Data Architect and Erwin. Resource
will be responsible for supporting the technical team and interfacing with
the client teams. Previous experience with IBM Infosphere family of
products, Data Warehouse and/or Data Analytics development projects is very
helpful.

Additionally, this individual will support the Entity Analytics Solution
(EAS).



1 – Perform SQL Server 2005 administration tasks on a production sized
database (20%)

2 – Maintain the metadata layer, IDA database and the EAS repositories in
SQL Server 2005 (20%)

3 – Run ETL jobs developed in SSIS to populate the target database
repositories from the source systems (20%)

4 - Become familiar with and implement EAS and Group One software (30%)

5 - Develop unit test plan, test cases and resolve test problems.  (10%)

*Skills:*

·         Expertise with SQL Server 2005 in the capacity of a database
administrator.  Prior experience in logical and physical data modeling as
well as DBA work for business intelligence projects required.

·         Prior experience with implementing a production system with SQL
Server 2005 is required.

·         Prior experience with ETL tool such as SSIS is also preferred.

·         Prior CI experience and experience is a plus.

·         Must have willingness and ability to learn and support IBM’s
Entity Analytics Solution.

·         Experience with IBM Info Analyzer and IBM Data Stage is helpful.
