*Location: Moline, IL* *Duration: 12 months* * * Senior AIX administrator: The keys skills and experience needed are : - Solid AIX/Unix Administration - IBM HACMP - Virtualization - Experience working in large infrastructure set ups with SAP. Job Description: The major purpose of this position is to work with existing resources on the SAP Basis and Performance team to implement High Availability using AIX HACMP for various SAP systems. The initial focus will be on updating HACMP implementation for SAP R/3 to enable migration from the AIX Regatta hardware to the new AIX Squadron hardware. The next focus will be implementing HACMP for SAP APO system, including the Livecache database on AIX. And finally, planning and implementing HACMP for other SAP applications - like Business Warehouse, Enterprise Portal, Solution Manager, Exchange Infrastructure, etc. Some of these include a distributed database on AIX that must also be included in the Switchover cluster.
