Microsoft Dynamics CRM Programmer Location: Raleigh, NC
Duration: 6+ months Must be excellent at Communication Skills DESCRIPTION: We require a contractor to assist in maintenance and enhancement activities for information systems using Microsoft Dynamics CRM, JavaScript, SQL Server 2005/2008, SQL Server 2005/2008 Reporting Services, VB.NET, Gurock SmartInpect Logging for .NET, C#, XML, and IBM MQ. Work involved will include, but may not be limited to, the following: * Create a new CRM development environment to match the staging and production environments. * Upgrade all CRM environments from CRM 3.0 to 4.0, including upgrade from SQL Server 2005 to SQL Server 2008 for CRM database. * Create custom entities and associated forms and views in Dynamics CRM, including advanced validation of form data and callouts to CRM objects and custom VB.NET assemblies and logging of callouts and errors. * Establish new CRM Workflows. * Modify entities, forms, and views for existing custom entities in CRM. * Import data from other systems into Dynamics CRM. * Modify existing or create new invoice generation code to support new invoice types. * Create new SRS reports and integrate these into the CRM environment. * Unit testing of modifications and enhancements. * Defect resolution. * Promotion of CRM objects, SRS reports, and .NET assemblies from staging environment to production environment. * Creating and updating technical documentation as applicable. * Sharing knowledge with permanent staff performing systems maintenance and enhancement. REQUIRED: * Minimum five (5) years of experience in developing, testing, installing, maintaining, and supporting information systems using the technologies mentioned above. * Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science / Programming or related technical course of study or equivalent training. * Good verbal and written communication skills. * Experience working with functional staff, technical staff, and users.
