- The individual needed is a hybrid resource.
- Architect level experience / knowledge and senior systems
administration experience on a 3 tier system providing internet access to a
Microsoft Windows Server 2000, Server 2003, SQLServer, Oracle , .Net
platform.
- Strong knowledge of IIS, networking, SAN, virtualized and real servers,
load balancing of work across multiple server farms.
- Ability to assess an existing environment against HP and Industry best
practices, recommend short term improvements and implement as needed.
- Develop an understanding of the client environment that would lead to
long term recommendations.
- Be able to collaborate with client and HP support teams.
- Onsite presence fulltime initially that probably could be adjusted once
this individual gains the confidence of the client.**
