*Senior Oracle DBA in **Dallas**, TX**.* *Contract Duration: 12months. * * * *Notes - Looking for expert level Oracle DBAs - Need candidates with experience on 11g.* *Professional References are mandatory... *· Senior Oracle DBA to assist the team with server builds and upgrades as part of data center migration projects. · Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience *Required Skills:* · 15 + years experience in Oracle Database Administration · Oracle database installation, configuration, tuning and troubleshooting on versions Oracle 9i and 10g. · Database Backup and Recovery solutions including RMAN, Backup Scripts. · Telecommunications Experience (i.e. Billing, Service Order, WorkFlow, Provisioning, Repair, Call Center) a plus. *Responsibilities:* · Data center consolidation · Server builds/upgrades including maintenance & monitoring implementation · Compliance reporting and audit validation · In-depth understanding of Oracle 11g, 10g and 9i database server architecture, concepts, features, and high-availability technologies. · Strong experience in Oracle advanced technologies including Oracle Data Guard Standbys, Streams, Partitioning, Spatial, Text, and RAC. · Well-versed in UNIX, Linux and Windows platforms, system resources monitoring. · Excellent UNIX shell scripting experience is required.
