Our Client, a Global Investment Bank is looking for a Senior Sybase Developer .
Location -ny Job requirements: Extensive knowledge in Sybase, Perl and Unix (scripting). Hands on experience in Informatica. Performance tuning of database processes and schema is key Experience with large Database application development Experience in financial industry knowledge (Prime Broker and Prime Reporting is a big plus) 7+ years of experience in software development 5+ years in Financial Industry Experience with Crystal, Business Objects, Composite and Actuate is a big plus Experience with Java and Messaging technologies is a plus Knowledge of Systems analysis and design, database design Fast learner and Independent problem solving skills Job responsibility: Design, develop and maintain the Prime Broker Database system Analyze, design and develop software using standard technologies, including utilizing Sybase, Perl, Java, Informatica and Unix Work closely with business to understand requirements/issues and provide technical solutions Understand and maintain existing post load processes and Reporting processes along with working platform enhancements Involve in design and build of new ETL platform using Informatica Powercenter Work closely with Production Support team in explaining production releases and support required for the items developed.
