Must maintain a close, proactive working relationship with the business and development teams. The need to be detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills and be able to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment is a must. *Responsibilities: *** · Perform quality assurance analysis and testing on an Enterprise-level web application for the mortgage industry. · Focus of the effort is on *batch process modules, UI screens, and Reports*. · Proficient in *Mercury's tool suite (Test Director/Quality Center, QuickTest Pro, LoadRunner)* · Recent experience *coding VBA (Visual Basic for Access) in Excel 2003*. · Strong SQL skills. · Work with development, QA, and Automation engineers to research, design, and develop complex test automation units. · Integration of individual test units into overall test suites. · Provide design documentation for the test automation projects. · Participate in the technical review of test automation project deliverables. · Participate in product feature design discussions that require test automation. · Provide the first level of support for the automation framework and test automation units. · Strong team-oriented, interpersonal, and communication skills. · Work with the Automation Infrastructure engineers to improve and enhance the existing automation framework. · Maintain the automation lab and equipment. · Maintain the *test environments (e.g., data loads, database backups, restarting the servers, requesting deployments, troubleshooting issues).* · Enter and track defects using *Rational ClearQuest * · Ability to develop solid and maintainable automated test scripts, performance test scripts, manual test cases, test plans, and test sets · Working knowledge of the development, test, release and support processes. · Working knowledge of developing test plans, debugging/isolating problems and driving them to resolution. · Must have excellent problem solving skills and be capable of breaking down complex situations to discover and resolve root causes, this applies to both technical issues and process issues. · Communicate with support, business and development teams to resolve issues during test execution. *Regards, ** **Santhosh** Phone: **443-458-7283*
