Senior SAP Basis Administrator This role performs core Basis functions with a focus on ERP and BW security and user administration. Focus includes SOX audit compliance and use of best practices regarding Segregation of Duties and appropriate IT controls. MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY Technology (80%) Performs hands-on SAP security work of create roles and profiles using profile generator (PFCG), create users and assign roles, follow Sarbanes-Oxley procedures for user profiles, troubleshoot security errors or problems. Installation, configuration and support of SAP GRC Provide support in establishing and maintaining the security and security procedures for all SAP systems Performs transport management tasks Performs daily monitoring of the SAP ERP, BI, XI, Portal, SRM environments Performs SAP support pack and language installs Performs printing support for SAP with third party product VPOM. Performs SAP Gui and BEX related desktop and network connectivity testing and troubleshooting Researches and perform trouble shooting steps for technical problems across the SAP landscape Leadership & Communication (10%) Interfaces with Delivery Services support personnel and SAP end users in support situations Provides input into process improvement solutions Effectively leverages technical resources and tools Exhibits time management skills Communicates status, milestones and issues as appropriate Management & Administration (10%) Provides feedback to peers; and writes self-appraisal Writes personal OPM goals Writes personal development plans Submits weekly time accounting sheets Provides input to team goals RESPONSIBILITY FOR WORK OF OTHERS Works closely with other team members and team leads to assist in setting and meeting timelines No direct reports Requirements: 4-5 years SAP administration experience - focus on SAP security Knowledge in configuration and support of SAP GRC a plus Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred General knowledge of technology platforms, products and services Excellent communication skills Experience working with business teams as well as technical teams Relationship building skills across technical and business teams Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills An eagerness to learn and desire to work as part of an energetic team!
