DataStage ETL Developer Location – Houston, TX Duration - 3months plus Start Date - ASAP Rate : As low as possible Summary/Purpose: · We are seeking a DataStage ETL Developer who has over 4 years of experience in DataStage and 8 years experience on overall ETL work for a 3-month contract engagement. Experience in Netezza would be highly preferred. Experience in SQL Server is a plus. Duties and Responsibilities: · Build effective DataStage ETL jobs/objects based on Design Specs provided by the ETL Team Lead · Design the ETL mappings to meet the business requirements and applying the best practices. · Develop ETL jobs to extract data from various source systems using the IBM DataStage ETL tool. · Participate in requirements, design, and code reviews. · Ability to work independently and as a team player with minimal supervision and effectively meet project deadlines. Education/Training/Experience: · Minimum 8 years of IT experience · 4+ years experience using IBM DataStage ETL tool · Must have experience working with version 8 of DataStage ETL tool. · Experience in Netezza would be highly preferred. · Experience in MS SQL Server is a plus. · Ability to work independently and as a team player with minimal supervision and effectively meet project deadlines. · Good communication and documentation skills.
