Sr. MicroStrategy Developer (contract/ contract-to-hire basis) Location - Houston TX Duration - 3 to 6mths Rate - As low as possible. Job Summary: We are seeking a Seasoned MicroStrategy Professional for report and dashboard development on contract/ contract-to-hire basis. The candidate needs to be self-starter with ability to design and develop MicroStrategy reports. The Candidate must have at least 8 years of IT experience with 3+ years of Hands-on development experience with MicroStrategy products. Essential Job Duties: · Design and develop MicroStrategy dashboards and reports · Ability to work independently and as a team player with minimal supervision and effectively meet project deadlines. Skill Requirements: · Education Desired: Bachelors Degree · Experience Required: 8+ years IT experience. 3+ years of Hands-on development experience with MicroStrategy products. · 4+ years of Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence experience · Candidate must be self-starter and show leadership skills in managing reporting projects. · Comprehensive knowledge of the MicroStrategy tool suite (I-Server, Architect, Desktop, Web, Narrowcast, OLAP Services and Report Services). · Experience in designing complex reports for Data marts and Adhoc reporting. · Strong problem solving/analytical skills. · Experience with MicroStrategy SDK is a plus · Certification and/or solid knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts preferred. Familiarity with ETL concepts. · Good communication and documentation skills.
