Job Title: System Architect
Location: Madison, WI
Duration: 8 months
Description: System Architect performs advanced professional information
systems (is) work on large complex wed-based systems under general
supervision. Design, Develop and/or maintain current or new web based
applications using the latest technologies available to the department
including SharePoint, ASP.Net, c# .Net, XML/XSLT, MS Patterns and practices
and Web services. Develop and propose detail design solutions. Define
application functionality, detail requirements, business rules, and
application flow. Perform database design, development and implementation
tasks using SQL programming skills, including stored procedures, views, and
user defined functions. Follow Agile Methodology prototyping solutions to
define and refine business requirements. Leverage Design Patterns to support
best practice software development processes. Utilize Test Driven
Development (TDD) and continuous Integration techniques to support best
practice development of Next Generation internal business systems. Possesses
experience in Finance/Accounting, HR, and/or Graphical information Systems
(GIS).
Skills:
1) Understanding of project management methodologies and
experience with Agile.
2) Development Design Pattern (MVC, Front Controller)
3) Web and client-server application development experience, including
requirements gathering, design.
4) Design structured analysis and design of web and client-server
applications for both transactional and batch.
5) Testing methods/Techniques including creation and execution of Unit,
system and User Acceptance Plan.
6) Web Project management experience
Required Skills: AJAX, ASP .NET, C#, JSP, MICROSTFT SQL SERVER, MICROSOFT
SQL SERVER REPORTING SERVICES, UNDERSTANDING OF MS .NET FRAMEWORK, VISUAL
STUDIO, WEB SERVICES, WebSphere, XML/XSL/XSLT, MS SharePoint Portal Server.
