Job Position: Sr. Developer (.Net, GUI, FIX) Location: New York, NY Duration: 6+ Months contract Need Sr .NET Developer with GUI Design and FIX Protocol experience. Job Description: We are looking for a well-rounded developer who will focus on GUI design and usability aspects of a Microsoft Windows based FX trading application. The developer will also be required to help develop new features as well as support existing features. The applicant should have a solid command of, and extensive experience with VB .Net development and usability. We expect the candidate to have the desire to create user friendly graphical interfaces that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. The applicant is expected to work individually, in small groups and with customers to develop application features. An ideal candidate will have experience with all cycles of product development, including specification, prototype, development, testing, deployment and maintenance. This position reports to the VP of Application Development. Responsibilities * .Net Client and Application Development * Bug fixes on new and existing products * GUI design and layout * Prototyping and development of new products. * Working with Product Management to define product specifications. * Working with QA and other Development. * This position has no direct reports.
