POSITION DESCRIPTION ------------------------------------------ Title: IT Software Developer Position Description: Need a contract resource during the validation phase of the Distribution Work Management in-source endeavor in order to provide a definitive Go/No-Go decision for self support of the Logica STORMS 3.4.4 suite of applications. We require a resource skilled in Java and extensive experience with the Worksuite Portal, Work Objects, WebLogic, ServiceManager and iScheduler. The estimated duration of this Java in-sourcing lab period is 2 weeks to include training of AEP IT Support staff, system documentation, software build and configuration support, tuning of the WebLogic application server and identification of redundant code. At the close of the lab period, AEP IT will have successfully run the source code in a non-production environment and will be prepared for a system test and a subsequent Go/No-Go decision for the Distribution Work Management Business Unit.
