 *Enterprise Architect with **a very deep knowledge of desktop related
technologies.*

*3 month contract *

*position in Denver*


Develop reference architecture and standards for desktops, including
distribution, asset management and overall desktop environment. Knowledge of
Microsoft tools including SCCM, MDOP/MEDV are helpful. Additionally,
experience with Microsoft's OCS is desirable. This would be for a 3 month
contract to build reference architecture and roadmap for the desktop.



 The Enterprise Architect - Infrastructure position is responsible for the
establishment, development and promotion of technology direction,
architecture standards and frameworks and governance related to IT
infrastructure.



Responsibilities include:



- Contribution towards the improvement of the Enterprise Architecture

(EA) process;

- Planning and strategic thinking of technology standards and frameworks
which support the strategy within their specific discipline;

- Governance of architecture standards - coordinate, review and approve
projects to ensure they are compliant with architectural standards;

- Technology strategy and leadership - maintain knowledge and apply towards
continued development and enhancement of technology plans;

- Communications and relationship building - effectively communicate highly
technical information to numerous audiences (including senior management),
effectively develop relationships inside and outside of IT, deliver
difficult messages and technical recommendations and influence others to
change their approach and work collective to implement new strategies, gain
support for technology direction and champion the migration towards the new
technology;

- Advise, coach and mentor - go-to technical resource and advisor that
offers meaningful technical solutions. Provide technical leadership and
architectural direction concerning technology management, roadmaps and
strategy.



The Enterprise Architect will drive the development of the enterprise
architecture process and the technology standards management process and
should keep abreast of the latest technologies and technological
opportunities in his/her knowledge area. The Architect must understand
business needs and apply smart technology strategy for competitive
advantage.
