Title: Production Support Specialist (Mainframe/ Windows Envrionment) Location: New York Duration: 12+ Months Rate: Open Technologies * COBOL, Perl, VB * Sybase * Windows, Mainframe Projects * Support of multi-instanced production environment * Develop and support applications for the Credit * Technology-driven projects to upgrade existing margin workflows. Role Summary The following items indicate the different duties that would be required of this position * Involvement in the complete project life-cycle * analyze, design, develop, test, install and maintain information systems * Project management including planning and driving * Point of contact for business users and other development teams * Good understanding of the business area and related applications * Working knowledge of the financial industry and learn about credit margin * Maintain the current system and setup * identify/analyze problems and propose solutions. Candidate Profile Technical Skills * Database Skills (Sybase or any other RDBMS) * Programming Skills (COBOL, Perl) * Experience in designing systems and managing projects. Interpersonal Skills * Ability to function as part of a team and build relationships with other teams and users * Strong sense of ownership and communication skills.
