Location: Chicago, IL
Length: 4-6 months w/option for additional time

Overview:
Consultant will serve as a technical resource for other members of the
development team in ensuring data processing standards, guidelines and
procedures are practiced.
Provide production support for end-users of the system, including:
training, responding to questions, resolving problems and providing
ad-hoc reporting.
Requirements:
1. Must have 3-5 experience with data warehousing and
OBIEE/Siebel Analytics
a. Must have exp reviewing functional requirements and
specification documents;
b. Perform the task designing, developing, and managing
reporting/BI solutions to meet business needs
c. Interview end users to refine requirements.
2. Candidates must show experience implementing 2-3 projects
involving OBIEE Answers, Interactive Dashboard, and Reporting and
Publishing.
a. Develop OBIEE Metadata Layer (.rpd) such as logical
modeling, creation of aggregations, calculations, hierarchy building,
etc.
b. Research source data locations to validate requirements
c. Develop Reports/Answer
d. Develop Dashboards
e. Develop standards and techniques to support reporting and
advanced drill down capabilities
3. Assist with data modeling and query tuning to achieve
maximum performance while retrieving data from database structures.
4. Develop and maintain operational and system level documentation.
5. Assist development team with test planning, test conditions,
and obtaining test data
