Locations: Philadelphia, PA

Est. Term: 6+ months
Bill Rate: $44/hour (All inclusive)

Critical Skills:

Comments:  They are looking for a true web designer, someone more design
oriented and "visual".  Not an Information Architecture focused
consultant. This person will need to code in Dreamweaver and JavaScript.


Required Skills:   Candidate should have practical design experience
using Macromedia Dreamweaver and familiarity with component based design
solutions. The candidate should also be familiar with Visio. Flash or
Photoshop experience a plus.

Must have the following skills:

Dreamweaver, XML, Style Sheets, JavaScript, HTML, Photoshop,
Illustrator, and RIAs (Rich Internet Applications using tools like AJAX,
Flash, and Flex)


Provide senior level user interface design services, which include the
analysis of complex user and business workflows and the design and
documentation of highly useable interfaces (web or client/server),
reflecting knowledge of the user's tasks, information hierarchy and
usability best practices.
Participate in requirements gathering efforts and discussions
surrounding business client needs.
Effectively persuade and influence to bridge the gap between business
requirements and user needs. Participate in task/user workflow analysis
(current and future) to gain understanding of the user's tasks and
behaviors.
Create detailed user interface designs, including prototyping, for
external (web) and internal (client/server) applications.
Support the creation of visual elements, components and templates.
Recommend viable, effective design/code solutions which support
underlying performance thresholds.
Complete all assigned tasks within 2/3 week Agile sprints Effectively
plan & organize daily tasks to drive outstanding items to closure within
negotiated deadlines.
Recognize constraints and dependencies, effectively managing these
issues into your timelines.
Participate in risk management activities with project team peers,
proactively identifying potential risk events and providing input to
risk quantification and mitigation strategies.
Demonstrate flexibility and independent thinking.
Perform page design testing to validate user interface design of
developed applications against UI Specifications and Navigational
diagrams.
Maintain technical knowledge around UCD practices, use of templates &
components, and prototype process.
