Duration: 6+ months Location: WA *Description of Purpose*** Workgroup’s Purpose To support the global focus on business performance improvement and the new Services Strategic Initiatives there is a strong need for a reporting infrastructure that will support the business needs for accurate timely and complete financial and operational information. Incorporated with target budget and forecast to allow management to take informed decisions base on the health of the business. The new services reporting infrastructure needs to link current business needs to long term business needs, integrate information from different sources, including Finance, to present data in a single view based on a single reporting source system * Responsibility/Activity*** Provide leadership and technical guidance to the test team to ensure all activities are performed according to developed test strategy and test plan Devise test strategies and test plans for effective and efficient testing practice Create and execute test cases based on test strategy and test plans Develop scripts, utilities, or other programmatic test tools as required to execute test plans Define and implement effective and efficient testing processes, documentation, tools and testing methodologies for cube and reports testing Write and execute test cases Log and manage bugs in VSTF *Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * • Experience with testing at various levels (unit, functional, integration, system, load and performance testing) • Ability to proficiently come up to business understanding and gain good understanding of business metrics. • Ability to understand business requirements • Proven record on ability to finish activities and focus on the vital activities that have the highest impact • Ability to influence others in the information management area • Able to deliver through virtual teams *Technical /Functional Skills*** • Experience in testing SSAS cubes, and business intelligence reports/views/scorecards • Proficiency in Transact-SQL • Experience with various test documentation, issue tracking, triage and testing best practices; VSTF strongly preferred. • Experience with ProClarity is preferred • Knowledge of business software: Excel, Power Point, LIVEMEETING, SharePoint Portal. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills * Personal Attributes*** • Good and clear communicator • High-energy individual • Ability to work across the organization, juggling competing priorities & agendas • Strong inter-personal & motivational skills • A passion for improving the end user experience • Assertive, self-motivated, creative – able to spot step change opportunities • Enthusiastic, not afraid to make suggestions, challenge or offer new ideas • Ability to be flexible & cope with change If this sounds of your interest then kindly send across your updated resume with rate expectation to process further fast.
