I Need atleast 2-3 years of Financial exp and the recent project should be with a Investment Banking Client. Title: Sr. Java Developer Location: Jersey City, NJ Duration: 1 year+ Candidates must have Investment Banking domain. Skills: EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED: Technical Skills - - Strong Java; sound knowledge of multi-threading, memory management, messaging. - Strong working knowledge of UNIX, scripting, Perl. - Strong working knowledge of an enterprise DBMS (ideally Sybase and/or DB2). - Experience with JavaScript, JSP, XML, Tomcat, Hibernate, Web Services would be advantageous. - Experience with User Interface development would be advantageous. - Experience with test driven development and unit testing would be advantageous. Relevant Skills/Qualifications - Good communication skills and ability to interact with the business users. - Ability to integrate with the existing team both locally and in remote locations. - Ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively. - Motivation to deliver technology solutions in a dynamic business environment. - Attention to detail, strong sense of ownership and willingness to manage tasks to completion Description: We are looking for a senior developer required to work as part of the Global Securities Services technology core infrastructure team. This is a global team located in New York, London and Bangalore, responsible for developing and maintaining systems that form reporting infrastructure platform, focusing on the core architecture, high performance, scalability, maintainability and long-term evolution. Main technologies are Java and Sybase in Linux environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: The role will involve participating and/or taking the lead in developing, enhancing and supporting systems that form the reporting infrastructure platform, focusing on designing and implementing solutions to improve application instrumentation, throughput, stability and usability. The role includes interfacing directly with several other technology teams and internal users to develop strategic technology solutions in the dynamic environment. The team utilizes agile development methodologies and is focused on the overall architecture and infrastructure to ensure that it continues to evolve to serve the rapidly growing business.
