Business Objects Developer New York, 6+ Months Contract Rate is Open Qualifications: Required Skills: . Proven track record (over 5 years) in the creation and maintenance of Business Objects Universe. Development experience in BO XI R2 and products like Universe Designer, WebiXIr2, Xcelsius is required. . Proven track record with Business objects API's and integration experience with platforms developed in C++/Java/.NET. . Strong experience with creating Business Objects reports including experience with scheduling, delivery and retention policy for these reports . Proven track record in dealing with medium - large data warehouses. Initial estimate for Data warehouse is about 500G - 1 TB. . Candidate will be expected to partner and influence the Data architect/ Data warehouse modeler to ensure performance throughput and other systemic requirements. . Experience in financial products/systems/ Investment Banking is expected. The reporting framework will require to meet audit, legal and compliance and banking requirements. . Experience in Information management (including segregation of views, entitlements) expected. . Strong proficiency in SQL on Oracle 10G is required. Sybase exposure is a strong plus. . Good verbal and written communication skills. Interaction with Business users and Senior IT counterparts (globally) is expected. . Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment is essential. . Candidate must have attention to detail; have the ability to work independently and also as part of a group; have a willingness to learn new skills and do whatever is necessary to "get the job done". . Suitable candidates will be results-oriented, goal-driven self-starters. . Demonstrates professional development. Good to have (strong plus): . Understanding of Repo business and relevant IT experience . Exposure to ETL tools (Informatica preferably) . Exposure to data warehouse modeling /development. .
