We are seeking a Web Development Architect/Lead for our Direct Client. Location: Brea (or) Fullerton, CA Duration: 6 Months Rate: Open / Start: ASAP Description: * Lead and coordinate the design, development, implementation support and optimization of web application systems to support critical business functions. Must be willing and able to perform development and testing functions. * Define project scope, plans and deliverables, and assists management in determining technical direction for Enterprise web systems. * Use object-oriented techniques and software engineering best practices including design review, code review, unit-testing, and re-factoring. * Mentors and provides technical leadership in collaborative design, implementation, and testing of multi-tier software applications, web services, and database systems. Required Skills: * 7-10+ years of experience architecting & developing web-based business and E-Commerce applications using Java/J2EE and .NET Frameworks. * Hands-on expertise in object-oriented analysis & design, with advanced understanding of Enterprise design patterns, frameworks, and service-oriented architecture. * Expertise creating detailed application design using UML, Process Flows, Sequence Diagrams, and pseudo-code level details. * Experience architecting integrated systems, interfaces, and web services (XML, SOAP). * Strong background with relational database technology including Oracle, SQL Server, Hibernate, JDBC, etc. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written). * 4-year degree in Computer Science or related field is required; advanced degree is preferred.
