Key competencies:
1.Individual must be able have good customer facing skills and be well
presented.
2.Must be a good communicator in English, both verbal and written.
3.Must be able to work to specified standards and required levels of
deportment, conduct, and sound ethical workplace practices. Must be able to
work alone and unsupervised, taking the initiative when necessary.
4.Individual must have at least 5 years experience in a similar support
role. Experience in troubleshooting Macintosh and PC related problems either
via phone, remote tools or desktop support.
5.Working knowledge of current and legacy hardware platforms. Familiar with
building, configuring and troubleshooting Macintosh and PC hardware
components.
6.Working knowledge of Mac OSx, Windows 2000 XP (preferably A+, MCP or MCSE
qualified) and related Office applications: 2000 XP.
7.Basic knowledge of TCP IP standards and networking.
8.Basic knowledge of server client operations in a domain environment would
be advantageous (NT & 2003) including Active Directory.
9.Must be a good problem solver, and demonstrate the ability to adapt to new
and changing technologies.
10.Must have the capability to replace components on all types of desktops
and laptops. IBM or APS accreditation would be preferable. .....
