The candidate should be knowledgeable and experienced in implementing Servlet, JSP, XML/XSL technologies with a strong understanding of J2EE 1.4 and Java EE 5. . Web applications use AJAX methods to deliver an efficient and engaging user experience. Compensation will match level of experience and qualifications. . Work with developers to integrate their software applications application platforms and products. . B.S. in Computer Science/Information Technology; or B.S.E. in Computer Engineering; or equivalent combination of education and experience . 3 to 10 years of experience developing J2EE applications in a structured environment . Experience with Hibernate and Spring . Strong teamwork skills . Ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral, to different levels of technical and non-technical audiences . Ability to mentor less-experienced developers . Thorough knowledge of software design patterns and UML . Effective communication and collaboration skills Pluses (any combination): Important. . Experience with Grails and Groovy . Experience working with Oracle 9i and higher . Experience working with PostgresSQL 8.0+ . Experience developing scalable, high-availability applications .
