Hands on experience with Informatica Power Center 7.0 and above. • 5+ rears of experience in the development and maintenance of SQL, Oracle, PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions and triggers. • Understand underlying data models and design/develop scripts. • 4+ years of UNIX knowledge required. Advanced shell-scripting and CRON knowledge a plus • Knowledge of at least one front-end tool (Business Objects/Cognos/ Microstrategy) a plus. • Knowledge of DB2 environment a plus • Strong oral and written communication skills • Desire and ability to quickly learn the client’s business processes Must have completed or have experience on at least one application development lifecycle • Responsible for maintenance and enhancement of Informatica Mappings, Work-flows, Stored Procedures and processes for all Business areas of the Data Warehouse. • Responsible for developing Mappings, Workflows, and processes in the Informatica/Oracle/UNIX environment • Responsible for tuning Informatica processes * * *RESPONSIBILITIES / Day-to-Day Activities:* • Responsible for analyzing and understanding the new requirements and follow the EPLC standards to implement the requested changes • Responsible for updating the ETL design documentation, Source-to-Target spreadsheets, and Software design Specifications for all Business Areas. • Responsible for unit and integration testing. • Responsible for schedule and status reporting PREFERRED SKILLS: • Familiarity with Reporting tools such as Business Objects, Cognos • Basic understanding of Oracle Application module such as Purchase Order, Accounts Payable, General Ledger Flow language will be following.
