*UI Designer* *new position in CA – * *6 month contract. MUST be able to interview F2F at office location (San Bernadino, CA). * *POSITION RESPONSIBILITY* (3-5 sentences): ): The UI Designer/Engineer will work closely with all project members to understand the functional needs of the application and prototype an easy to use, best of breed user experience. The UI Designer will be responsible for the overall look and feel of the application as well as the in-depth design of workflows that cover complicated functionality. The UI Designer/Engineer will work closely with the business and the BAs to ensure that the business needs are understood and presented in the best manner possible. *POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES AND DELIVERABLES (General description)* Work with the BA and Project Manager to develop wireframes for the initial specification documents Prototype new screens and new/changed workflows to for the Data Director application Elicit feedback on designs and workflows from the business and from selected user base. Development of the new user interfaces. *SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:* Strong PHP, html, javascript, ajax Excellent verbal and written communication skills Good analytical skills, evidenced by designing and documenting complex work flows in a clear, understandable manner. Ability to work independently and plan/prioritize their own workload. Strong problem-solving skills.
