*ESB Developer (10-12 yrs)** * *Location: San Francisco, CA* *Duration – 12 months* Provide for the development and implementation of healthcare B2B and ESB integration solutions as part of the overall eCommerce initiative. He or she will be responsible for full lifecycle development and must be able to effectively communicate and work with development team members, business users and third party vendors. This individual will be involved along with management and architect teams to design, develop, test and implement Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) solutions and ESB solutions to meet business and compliance requirements. *Required Skills:* - Excellent written and verbal communication - Full lifecycle development experience - MUST BE HANDS-ON - Experience with IBM Message Broker and Message Queue administration and development a key selection criteria - Hands-only experience with integration and interface development, particularly using the IBM Message Broker, IBM and EDIFECS is a plus. - Strong familiarity with ASC X12 Healthcare Transactions - Strong familiarity with EDI regulatory requirements (HIPAA) - Familiarity with Unix operating system - Java, Oracle, JMS, MQ Series, CICS and web service development experience - Familiarity with Blue Cross/Blue Shield regulatory requirements (Blue Exchange) a plus - Familiarity with network communications technology a plus - Bachelor’s degree and five years experience (or equivalent combination there of) - Must be proficient in, JMS, XML (XSD Schema), Web Services, Java, Web Servers, Integration Servers, Adaptors - Excellent technical trouble shooting skills - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Excellent technical leadership skills - Excellent people skills; able to work effectively in a cross-cultural environment - Ability to organize work and balance multiple assignments concurrently *Required Experience:* - Demonstrated success in working with cross-functional development teams. - Demonstrated success in capacity management and performance tuning of IBM ESB solutions. - Demonstrated full lifecycle development success with IBM - EAI/ESB projects, one of which utilizing IBM Installation exp with enterprise wide. - Demonstrated experience on software development projects for a minimum of 2 years incorporating Java Messaging Service (JMS), UNIX application design and administration, XML interfaces, PERL scripting, and SQL database interface development. - Familiarity with quality software development life-cycle methodology. A stronger candidate will have experience with the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements development and design through to testing and post go-live production support, all on the same system/project. - Architectural level experience is very helpful! -- Explore the Possibilities!
