IT Trailblazers has an immediate
requirement for a Visual Web Designer with our client. Multiple positions
based in St. Louis, MO and Minneapolis, MN.
Requirements
- Solid skills in graphic
and technical design for the development of web.
- Must have solid understanding
of visual design processes, user-centered design principles, absolute working
comfort with HTML and CSS, excellent visual design skills, technical know-how,
and expertise in design for web and desktop application frameworks.
- User-centered design, attention
to detail, ability to balance multiple product requirements.
- Excellent understanding of
color, composition, imagery and typography.
- Familiarity with web development
technical issues (web standards and accessibility.)
- Four or more years participating
in product development life-cycle of several successfully launched web
and/or software applications.
- Experience with Photoshop,
Illustrator, CSS, HTML, XHTML, _javascript_, portal technologies, Web 2.0
design principles is absolutely necessary.
- Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills. Degree in Graphic Design is desired.
This is a long term position.
