Candidates for each position must have all of the types and durations
listed as follows of mandatory technical experience required for the
position to be eligible for consideration. Non-mandatory technical
requirements are desirable and will be scored based on level of
experience. Technical experience may be concurrent.
MANDATORY Requirements:
NOTE: Candidates who do not meet all of the following mandatory
requirements will not be considered for further evaluation and the
entire proposal will be deemed non-responsive.
a. A minimum of six (6) years experience coding in ANSI Standard SQL.
b. A minimum of six (6) years experience interpreting physical
database models and understanding relational database concepts such as
indexes, primary and foreign keys, and constraints using Oracle.
c. A minimum of six (6) years experience working with Oracle version
9i or later.
d. A minimum of six (6) years experience in using ORACLE programming
tools (SQL Plus, PL/SQL, SQL Loader or other ORACLE database
programming tools).
DESIRABLE Experience:
(Scores will be assigned based on the length of the experience.)
a. Experience coding in PL/SQL, especially Packages and Procedures.
b. Experience with Sybase PowerDesigner 9.0 or higher.
c. Experience with writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting
dynamically created SQL within Procedures
Duties: analysis and design of database(s), including data
analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, and database
(s) design, testing, implementation and administration; creates
physical database model(s); develops required stored procedures to
access database(s); available to assist and/or lead in the design of
program specifications and the implementation of software.
