Also requires experience with jBoss, Maven, Subversion, and Eclipse. -Good written and verbal communication skills Lead technician willing to train in-house staff Project description: Replace our current Student Financial Aid web application utilizing a mainframe DB2 database with a Java, GWT, and jBoss application accessing data from a vendor supplied webservice. Work schedule -1 year contract with the possiblity of a 6 month extension 40 hour weeks Monday - Friday (flexible schedules are okay) Starting date will be immediate upon conclusion of the interview process. -ProSAM is a Windows GUI presentation layer that shares the full financial aid functionality and features of it's predecessor, the SAM On Line screens. -ProSAM also leverages the graphic and text handling features of Windows to add functionality to modules such as Memorandum, Letters to students and email. -Please add Java Persistence Layer (Hybernate) to the list of requirements. -It uses flexible client/server technology and integrates with institutional student data systems as well as other enterprise applications. -One of the enhancements offered with ProSAM is the ability to invoke real time processing that uses business rules that adhere to institution policies. This capability minimizes the need for counselors to make computations and policy decisions when processing a student on line.
