Position:- SAN Engineer.
Location: Jacksonville, FL Length: 6 months+ Local candidates preferred Descriptions: Responsible for systems administration and support for large scale enterprise storage management infrastructure. Responsibilities also include installation, configuration, customization and provisioning of the storage resources to meet application/business needs. Duties also include performance management and monitoring of the storage environment. This also includes providing Storage Management support for Mainframe operating systems as well as all functions associated with managing the midtier SAN infrastructure. Technologies supported include operating systems, servers, networks, system security, hardware and other software applications. Troubleshoot system issues, resolve or recommend solutions. Create and manage system documentation, including configurations and backup procedures. Create patches and updates as needed. Must possess solid knowledge of operating systems and enterprise storage.
