Job Duties: Storage:
This is an IT Specialist level position specializing in NAS storage. This is
a hands-on role that requires software integration and deployment of
hardware. Qualified candidate will have strong NetApp experience and prefer
experience providing consulting services. Candidates must exhibit excellent
communications skills.
The infrastructure specialist will perform the following:
. Develop architecture strategies and definitions for the core hosting
infrastructure environment
. Participate in capacity management activities (forecasting, analysis, and
problem solving)
. Participate in application and server consolidation efforts
. Leverage industry publications and knowledge bases to provide thought
leadership and best practices for data center design and management,
capacity planning, and future infrastructure solutions and products
MUST HAVE Skills & Experience:
NetApp OnTap CLI and FilerView GUI
Brocade or CISCO MDS SAN switching
EMC and IBM storage experience
Experience or exposure with UNIX/Linux or a VMware ESX environment
