The team we are putting together need the following skills profile:
5-10+ years experience
VB
VB.NET
SQL Server 2005/2008
Analysis services a plus
Reporting services a plus
We need a team leader who can coordinate and actively manage, catalog and
document the process of working with Company’s developers (16) to transition
the existing application from VB to their new .NET framework. We also need
4 very good programmers to work on this team with the team leader and
Company’s staff. Company’s framework is already developed for controls,
messaging, testing and is actually deployed to their clients. They now
need to enhance it and extend it as necessary to successfully replace the VB
client code they already have in production. This team needs to be made up
of very sharp programmers and team players. We need to extend environment
handlers to support the Company’s client’s environments including Sandock,
winforms, http, etc. We need a smart forms developer who can work on a GUI
program to work with Company’s defined business object to replace 300
programs with 1 or 2. Company started this work 2 1/2 years ago. Much of
the foundation is there, now they need to ramp it up.
