Required Skills: APO/BI - Expert on Architecture, understand the data
modeling, & process Chain, knowledge on back end data collection &
extraction
Description:
We currently have an open temporary position for an experienced SAP
consultant who has a working knowledge of APO and the architectural impact
to successful BI data modeling and reporting.
Required Skills:
1. 6-8 years of experience in APO data modeling concepts specifically
around Demand Planning and Supply Network Planning
2. Experience with creating, analyzing and optimizing APO process
chains
3. Experience working with using APO as a backend system to feed BI
reporting and data modeling
4. Working with end-user to collect their requirements and define an
environment that will satisfy their specific needs
5. Experience with integration with core ECC thorough the use of CIF
processing.
6. Understands how to monitor and assess Live Cash performance
7. Need experience with APO 5.0, BI 7.0 and ECC 6.0
8. Solid communication and interpersonal skills
9. Understand APO data structures and data flow.
10. Planning area setup on how data is stored for each of the key figures
in planning area. Applicable to both DP and SNP.
11. Data source set up for planning areas to extract data from planning
areas.
12. Understand BI data structures, data flow and modeling.
13. Info package setup.
14. Info cube/ DSO setup
15. Transformations setup.
16. Process chain setup to use parallel processing of info packages which
require use of conditions.
17. Able to compare and validate data in planning books and PSAs after
extraction from planning areas.
