Position: PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Technical Developer
Start Date: Nov 2, 2009
Duration: 6 Months with possible extensions.
Location: Tucson, AZ

SCOPE OF WORK
The PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Technical – Developer will be working with the 
Campus Solutions Technical Leads, Campus Solutions-other Developers, and the 
Campus Solutions Implementation Team members.
Required Skills:
Proven track record of using advanced development skills to expedite 
development efforts.
Working knowledge of the PeopleSoft Security architecture and the Student 
Administration security.
Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and modifying PeopleSoft Application 
Packages.
Demonstrated experience modifying PeopleSoft Self Service. 
Demonstrated development experience with Component Interface, Application 
Engine.
Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate highly technical 
information to a diverse audience—both technical and non-technical.
Must know how to organize, coordinate and communicate work breakdown structures 
for the PeopleSoft software product suite.  
Optional Skills:
Working knowledge of Integration Broker and troubleshooting IB messages.
Development and troubleshooting experience with SQR.
Ability to assist in tuning application performance. 
Experience with OBIEE, EPM, SOA tools (BPEL, ESB).
Experience with integration with PS Enterprise Portal.
Responsibilities:
Assist Developers with modification design and programming
Assist Developers with troubleshooting and debugging
Develop modifications (customizations, automations) as needed
Demonstrate working functional knowledge with PS Campus Solutions  8.9 and/or 
9.0
Use Application Designer and PeopleCode to modify the system.
Use Application Engine and SQR to write batch programs and to create inbound 
and outbound interfaces.
Implement PeopleSoft Security and Student Administration Security.
Mentor University employees and communicate best-practices and skills so others 
can assume these responsibilities in the future.
Work with other developers, be able to provide accurate status to Technical 
Leads.
Complete development in an expedited development environment to meet project 
timelines.
Selected consultants are expected to bring their own laptop for the assignment.
