Position: PeopleSoft Functional Training Co-ordinator Start Date: Nov 2, 2009 Duration: One Year with possible extensions. Location: Tucson, AZ No. of Positions: 1 Rate: Market SCOPE OF WORK The PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Training Coordinator will be working with the Campus Solutions Technical Leads, Campus Solutions Developers, and the Campus Solutions Implementation Team members to develop and deliver training for functional departments. Required Skills: Experience in software implementation training in a formal classroom setting and demonstrated skill in providing high-quality training to adult learners. Experience developing and delivering enterprise application training for non-technical end-users. Experience with business intelligence/reporting training for end-users and report writers, and basic system administrator training, including workflow development. Experience creating high quality e-learning materials for information technology training. Technical expertise in complex information technology software products. Ability to instruct users on the inter-relationships between various modules of software product suites and how to use the tools to perform business functions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent customer service skills. Optional Skills: Experience working with management, systems developers, and users of administrative information systems. Experience with PeopleSoft Human Capital Management, PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, and/or Oracle’s User Productivity Kit. Knowledge and understanding of the University’s Enterprise Systems Replacement Project. Knowledge on existing project's goals, timeline, and participation by functional and technical staff and users from campus units and UITS (University Information Technology Services). Experience designing evaluation metrics for training. Responsibilities: Develops and delivers training for users in campus departments, including live training and synchronous and asynchronous web-delivered training. Training will be delivered to all campus users at go-lives and on an on-going basis after go-live. Develop and deliver training for Student Administration functional and technical implementation staff. Develops and publishes training curriculum, documentation, and other written documents and instructions for handouts to users. Works closely with and coordinates with the Student Admin SME's for the PS CS Suite – Student Records, Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Financials, Academic Advising, Campus Community. May interact with other Mosaic modules including PeopleSoft Human Capital Management, Kuali Financial System, Kuali Coeus Research Administration, and Business Intelligence. Performs administrative duties necessary to functioning of Mosaic Training Team. Participates in testing of Mosaic applications. Helps identify, train, and cultivate department Super Users. Helps develop and implement in-house and client surveys on effectiveness of workshops and outreach activities.
