*Location: CA (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY)* *Start Date: Nov-01-09 * *End Date: Apr-30-10 * * * *Skills Required: * - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience. - Minimum of 5 years total experience as an engineer in a web environment doing development with Java/JEE. - Expert Java 5 or later knowledge. - Expert knowledge of Spring Dependency Injection and other core Spring features. - Strong communications skills. - Strong experience in application design, design patterns and performance tuning. - Strong SQL, Data Modeling and DB skills (DB2). - Experienced with WebLogic 9 or above (or similar Application server) management and configuration. - Service Oriented Architecture experience and strong web service integration skills - Experience designing and implementing with Hibernate or another ORM / EJB3 JPA provider. - Experience designing and implementing with Struts or other MVC framework - Experience designing and implementing with JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks like YUI, JQuery - Experience designing and implementing with FLEX - Experience with UML modeling and effectively communication for design reviews. - Background developing on a Unix/Linux platform. - Ability and desire to thrive in a proactive, high-pressure, client-services, environment. - Successful history of web projects delivered. - Ability to clearly write technical specifications.
